This is an animation of a wrecking ball, which we chose to make rainbow, slamming into some cardboard boxes. To do this we used groups and dynamic physics to animate it. we started by modeling the chains and the ball, and connecting them together. Then we created a box and used an array modifier to duplicate it over and over. After this we added materials and set up the camera and the lighting, before rendering it out. This project actually took us a few attempts to get right, but it was still fun. All in all we really liked this project, and would love to do something similar in the future. This project took about 4 hours to complete, and about 1 hour to render.
